About Leadership Impact Assessment
Leadership/Impact is a 360° assessment that provides leaders with targeted feedback on their impact on the behavior and performance of others. This informative “window” reveals not only the direction of the leader’s impact, but also its implications for his/her effectiveness and that of the organization as a whole.
Audience : Executives, key-level managers, and others in leadership positions

Feedback Provided : The leader’s preferred or ideal impact on others compared to his/her current impact as reported by others; Self and others’ reports on types of strategies, prescriptive and restrictive, in ten domains of leadership which lead to either a constructive or defensive impact; Overall effectiveness as reported by others
Presentation of Results : A comprehensive, personalized feedback report that includes circumplex-based profiles of the leader’s ideal and current impact (normed on the basis of 500 managers), bar charts and tables on the leader’s strategies, descriptive text, and recommendations for improving leadership effectiveness
Associated Outcomes : Studies show that leaders who employ prescriptive strategies have a constructive impact and those who employ restrictive strategies have a defensive impact on others’ behavior. Given that the performance of leaders ultimately depends upon the quality of the performance of the people around them, prescriptive leaders are generally more effective than those who are restrictive.
